Does polyurea on a terrace fade in the sun (UV)?

Polyurea does not lose its strength or waterproofing in the sun. The colour of standard polyurea can shift slightly at the surface over time.

To keep the colour stable we always apply a UV-stable top layer outdoors. That finish ensures your terrace keeps its colour and appearance even after years of intense sun, important under the bright sun of the Costa Blanca.

The result is a terrace that is not only completely waterproof but also stays attractive for years without yellowing or going dull.

The top layer is not a luxury but a fixed part of the system. It is applied in two coats and protects the membrane beneath it against the UV load that is present here all year round.
